I participated in "The Builders Challenge" Furniture Flip Challenge this year and used two old Oak Desk Sides that I found on the curb to make a Kitchen Island.
I love building things from something that is literal trash and making it useful and beautiful.
Although I didn't win the competition, I did win by saving one more piece of furniture from going into the land fill.
Shortly after posting the piece for sale she SOLD so that's another WIN in my book.
